DIY Hand Print Art

Hey everyone! So in honor of (late) Easter, I decided to do another spring themed DIY! In all honesty, this is one of my personal favorites on this blog and I hope you like the idea as much as I do! Today, I'm going to be creating DIY hand print art! This craft is quick, easy, and pretty hard to mess up. (I actually did mess up the first time, but I fixed it so it's all good now!) As long as you're capable of holding a paint brush, this project will not be a problem for you at all. So let's begin! I promise you the outcome is worth it!

What you will need:
- Paint
- A paint brush
- A piece of wood (I found this at Michaels)
- A Sharpie (Optional)

Step One: Paint the surface wood using a color of your choice. I chose to use a very happy, springy color - pink!

Step Two: Using a different color, have a friend or parent help paint one or both of your hands completely. If you have big hands that don't fit inside of the wood, use another person's instead. I, personally, have small hands, so this wasn't a problem for me.

Step Three: Carefully place your painted hand down onto the wood. Once you make contact, be sure not to move. After a few seconds, remove your hand and admire your beautiful work! If you want, you can use your sharpie to add some decoration, but I chose not to.

And now you have your very own hand print art! Like I said before, this project is one of my favorites and definitely turned out amazing. My bedroom is so much cozier with a beautiful piece of wooden art placed on the shelf! I may even make a few more with my friend's hand prints to give as presents! And the great thing is, you can use any colors you want! I hope you have as much fun making this project as I did! Stay crafty!
