DIY Heart Mouse Pad

Hello, my friends! Happy Sunday! Today I've got a post for all my computer lovers out there. A couple months ago I got a new laptop, and ever since I have been in desperate need of a mouse pad. I thought about going out and buying one, but I figured the better option was to make my own with materials I already had. In total, I spent under a dollar on this craft, which is quite impressive considering most mouse pads are around ten! Let's get started!

What you will need:
-Corkboard paper
-Paint of any color
-A paintbrush

Step One: Use a round object to draw a circle on your corkboard. Once done, cut out your shape with a pair of scissors.

Step Two: Draw a heart on your circle and, using your paintbrush, begin to fill it in with paint.

Step Three: Complete filling in your heart. Once finished, clean around the edges using a smaller paintbrush. Let it sit until it's dry.

And now you have your very own heart mouse pad! Obviously this isn't the neatest option out there, but I personally think the imperfections make it look very old and rustic! Plus, it serves the same purpose as a product valuing at over 10 times the cost of this homemade one! This project is sure to spice up your desk, and I can guarantee you that it will make your work space as a whole look much more welcoming and sweet. Thanks for reading! Stay crafty!
